Dianora Salviati's interest in textiles and traditional weavings began at a young age. Her ancestor was Jacopo Salviati, founder of the XIV century's Arte della Lana, the wool guild of Florence during the Late Middle Ages and in the Renaissance. But it is the rich textile hues she observed while on her travels in India that inspired Dianora to create her eponymous line.
Dianora is mindful of respecting traditional crafmanship. Her scarves are hand-loomed in Italy from the finest natural materials. They are recognized for their lightweight feel, deeply-saturated colours and abstract prints.
